Every year, there are almost 250 million cases of malaria and nearly 1 million deaths. Malaria accounts for one fifth of all childhood deaths in Africa, where it kills a child every 45 seconds.*
We know that chemically treated mosquito nets are one of the most effective ways to tackle malaria and yet so many children in Africa still don’t have one. £5 could go a long way to helping the fight against malaria.
