1944 public information film
This clip is from What is Disease?, a short film released by the US Information Service in 1944 as part of a campaign to educate people about malaria at a time when it was still a worldwide problem. Since then, the disease has been eradicated in the UK and the US, but it still remains a huge problem in many developing countries.
